Dearests! If your weekend was anything like mine, you stress-baked brownies and screamed at the TV during a Game of Thrones watch party. There’s no punchline there, I just wanted to share that I’ve become the type of person that stress bakes. And that this New York Times recipe for Salted Caramel Brownies is 💯.
Three reads this morning:
With all of the rabble-rousing from the right about how delicate snowflakes won’t debate them, it brings immeasurable joy to my cold, cold heart when said snowflake had a PhD in political theory. So enjoy Sean Illing’s taking of Ben Shapiro to task using words from his own book. Choice quotes: “A lot of this comes down to what you choose to emphasize and what you choose to ignore, and what that reveals,” and “All of these facts are conspicuously left out of your book.” It’s *chef’s kiss* and I am here for it.
I’m a huge consumer of kombucha, so much so that I used to brew my own when I had the space to do so. So this Forbes piece on the strange rabbit-owning billionaire founder of the most popular (and available) brand of Booch is sooooo my jam.
Have a wonderful day, sweethearts. Be kind to each other.
