A couple o’ things today:

  • Today is the Day Without a Woman “women’s strike.” For a take on what that means for some women-helmed organizations, read "How Jezebel Will Participate in the Women's Strike.”

  • A new paper out of Wharton purports that, since the election, men demonstrated more aggression in negotiating situations with women.

  • I went on my first full tweet storm yesterday about the idiot comment Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz said in an interview with CNN yesterday. Discussing the cost of coverage under the proposed Republican replacement for the Affordable Care Act, he said "[M]aybe rather than getting that new iPhone that they just love and they want to go spend hundreds of dollars on that, maybe they should invest in their own health care.” To which I responded,

  • And you should check out Friend of the Missive Mike Montgomery’s take on the Chaffetz comment on Forbes.

Yours in table flipping,

Amy
