Pumpkin Cheesecake Is The 2020 Breakfast Of Champions, And I Will Take No Further Questions
My darlings! I hope that your weekend was fabulous, and that you’re rested and ready to kick butt and take names. I spent a lovely weekend hiking and cleaning and baking and watching movies (thank you for your recommendations! Much appreciated), so I’m rolling into this short American Thankgiving week with my head held as high as can be. BTW, I can now report that I am able to bake a pumpkin cheesecake, which means I’ll now have that on my resume alongside my degree from Princeton, thank you very much.
Couple o’ Odd Salon things today: tomorrow night, Friend of the Missive and my surrogate big brother Colin Alexander is curating his very first Odd Salon shorts “Above & Beyond”, and his lineup of speakers is FREAKING AWESOME, including friends of the Missive Aaron Laycook and Miles Traer! Get your tickets now, you’ll see me sassing off in the show chat and cheering these lovely dudes on. And secondly, you beautiful monsters have already donated $710 to my fundraiser for Odd Salon, which means I will be donating at least $710 to Odd Salon when this is all said and done - we’ve still got time, and remember that I’m matching donations up to $1000 total… so make me put up to shut up, won’t you?
TO THE INTERNET
Gotta love this: A Republican judge just tore into Trump’s election lawyers for their incompetence. Dearest legal Friend of the Missive - it’s gotta be illegal to bring frivolous lawsuits and waste the court’s time (as well as taxpayer $$$), yes? How does the legal system punish lawyers who bring lawsuits without merit to a judge? Can someone explain to me why these attorneys think they can get away with it? If you explain it, I’ll share it with this group.
Trump firing the head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is a very bad thing, especially as he fights this transition period. So here’s an excellent Lawfare piece on the good work Christopher Krebs has done in disputing disinformation and accomplishing “a significant improvement in the security of American election infrastructure and coordination on election integrity matters between federal authorities and hundreds of state and local governments.”

Today, in “I’m sorry, what?”: That Pig Couch on Craigslist? Not for Sale. (Also, Not a Couch.)
And finally, I’m here for this headline with body, mind and soul: Cast Matt Berry in The Mandalorian, You Cowards.
Be kind to each other, mmmkay?
