Sir Ian McKellan for Benevolent Overlord
Morning darlings,
I’ll leave this headline here: Without evidence, Trump tells lawmakers 3 million to 5 million illegal ballots cost him the popular vote. Remember when Joe Biden dropped out of the 1988 presidential campaign over his plagiarism scandal? And I’m not saying plagiarism is ok or shouldn’t cause a scandal that causes one to drop out of a race for the highest office in the country. I’m merely asking you to hold the headline above in your head, and then think of Joe Biden, and then perhaps sad Charlie Brown walk around for a bit.
So say it with me now: “ALTERNATIVE FACTS ARE LIES."
Today in lovely humans: Sir Ian McKellan found and carried the greatest Women’s March sign: the famous “Captain Picard Facepalm” image, thus once again cementing his bromance with Patrick Stuart, this time in protest.
The sign “You Know Things Are Messed Up When Librarians Start Marching” was also cool.
Now that I’ve got your thinking about the Women’s March again, join me in getting to work by signing up for 10 Actions, 100 Days from the organizers of the Women’s March on Washington.
And sometimes when life gets you down, all you can ask for is some good ol’ Emmet Otter’s Jugband (thx Josh!)
Toodles, lovelies.
